No Impunity Digital Product
In my first professional UX project, I had the opportunity to create digital products for a litigation start-up called No Impunity. During my 1 year internship, my role required collaborating on building a Landing Page, User Dashboard and NGO users' journey when creating an automated SDG impact report.
As the only UX designer in the team, I researched the litigation funding industry, worked with analysing data collected from user interviews, and developed user flows, and wireframes of the user Dashboard and Impact Report tool.
Designing Landing Page

In collaboration with UI designers and web developers, we have designed a landing page that is the first point of contact between No Impunity and our potential clients. While designing the page I ensured we applied Gestalt Laws of Grouping and Principles of Design. We have tested the landing page on a number of participants and made sure they can orientate through the screens easily.
No Impunity - Responsive Web Application
The next assignment entailed initiating the development of a responsive web application enabling NGOs to upload their cases and commence fundraising to begin legal proceedings.
Problem Statement:
Victims of human rights abuse & global environmental damage are unable to access their legal representation due to their poverty.
NGOs and law firms need substantial cash flows to take on impactful yet lengthy litigation systematically.
The lack of access of retail investors to fund litigation deprives claimants of substantial funding opportunities.
User Needs:
NGOs require a digital platform to facilitate connections with law firms, enabling them to raise funds for aiding victims of impunity, while also generating Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) reports tailored to their needs.
Process:
To better understand the field of litigation funding researched three different competitor platforms that are focused on litigation funding. I began with thorough research of the field creating competitive analysis and SWOT. This process provided us with a comprehensive understanding of the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities present in the market.

We have also analysed previously obtained user interview data of victims, NGOs and investors. I have gathered all the information and reduced key problems and potential solutions by creating personas and user journeys.
Our user research showed that….
We centered our biggest decisions around:
- What are the key features that user dashboard will prioritise
-
- How to visually make product information more digestible
- How to incentivize customers to review their products
